Please read the following terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) carefully before using this Website (“Site”). The use of this Site is governed by these terms, which are binding between the User and Coutinho Rebelo – Lawyers (hereinafter referred to as CRA).

 

1. Object of this Site and Legal Notices

CRA provides this Website to visitors (“User”), exclusively for informational and non-commercial purposes. Nothing set out on this Site can be construed as legal advice. The information contained on this Site is not confidential and does not establish an attorney-client relationship with the CRA or any of its attorneys. The Site does not constitute a proposal to represent the User and the User must not act or refrain from acting based on any information contained on this Website.

The use of the Site by the User constitutes full legal acceptance of each of these terms, as if the User had signed this Agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use this Website.

The Information and intellectual property content on the Site belong exclusively to CRA. Failure to comply with what is established here in relation to the Information and the use of intellectual property objects displayed or otherwise made available on the Site constitutes a serious breach of these terms and implies the immediate loss of the limited authorization granted above.

CRA expressly excludes any liability for any damages or viruses that may infect the User’s computer or mobile device, or other property, when accessing or browsing the Site or transferring material from the Site to your computer or mobile device.

CRA does not, under any circumstances, accept responsibility for any indirect, occasional, or extraordinary losses, whether contractual or non-contractual, that may result from its action or omission within the scope of this Agreement, even if CRA has been alerted for the possibility of these losses occurring.

The User’s decision to access such websites is at their own risk. The User must take particular note of the fact that the policies followed by other sites linked to the CRA Site may be materially different from our Terms, especially with regard to the use and collection of personal information. No authorization is given here to the User to establish any link from any other website to any part of this Site or to place any content on this Site within an information field, without prior written authorization from CRA.

CRA reserves the right to introduce changes and additions to the Terms, at any time and without prior notice, posting the new terms and conditions on the Website for that purpose. The User must periodically check the Terms for updates. The use of the Site, after the posting of any changes or additions, constitutes acceptance of the new terms, as indicated above.
